Volunteers have a variety of opportunities to serve in our food pantry ministries (3 ministries), in our thrift store, in our processing center to process donations to be given away or sold for crisis center funding, and a variety of ministries we provide for the community. We are open Mon-Fri, 8:30-2:30, come as often or as little as you can come. Tasks are not difficult and even those with minor handicaps can assist. Anything you do will be serving those in crisis in need in your community.
We also have an opportunity where you can purchase food for us off site if you are interested. We would love to have someone with nursing experience offer blood pressure and glucose screenings. We have fundraising and organizational tasks. Many opportunities. We also have antiques that research and online advertising needs to be accomplished to sell for funding to go back into our crisis ministry.

Mission Statement
Our mission is to serve all of Rutherford County with crisis assistance such as food, clothing, emergency furniture and household items, and to meet basic needs while families are going through crisis.
Description
We have been a strong presence in Henrietta and Forest City for almost forty years now helping those impoverished in Rutherford County. We are helping those in an area of the county that is often forgotten and beyond. We rely on volunteers from this community to give back to their neighbor by helping give them a hand up.
