Call to action - small business mentors needed!
Are you a small business owner or expert and would like to mentor micro entrepreneurs? Or maybe you have expertise in HR/ Management, Sales, Business Finances, Marketing or overall Business Plan writing, and would like to share your expertise?
At the WiNGS Women's Entrepreneur Center we help women design, launch and establish their businesses. Business mentoring is a vital part of the program and we are currently looking for business mentors who have the time and talent to mentor. As a WiNGS' experienced Small Business Advisers you can help business owners to resources, access additional capital, or explore different business and operational tactics to weather the COVID-19 crisis. Requirements:
- Knowledge and at least three years of experience in a specific industry as it relates to business
- Experience in facilitating one-on-one member services
- Preferred experience in individual coaching and/or advising with small business owners
- Able to communicate information clearly and simply
- Enjoys interacting with individuals of diverse backgrounds
- Able to encourage others to set and reach their own goals

WiNGS has been walking alongside women since 1908, constantly evolving to meet women’s changing needs. We continue to help women overcome poverty by taking charge of their futures as members seeking services, or giving back to others as mentors, coaches and advocates.
Our volunteers make up an essential part of our programing. By volunteering their time and knowledge as class facilitators. WiNGS offers both online and virtual classes to our members in areas of Financial Resilience, Career Advancement, and Personal Development.
