Veteran's Program
NewView proudly offers a group for veterans called VITAL, which stands for Veterans’ Independence Through Adaptive Living. VITAL gives social support to vision-impaired servicemen, women, and their families, by providing opportunities to enjoy the company of their peers, share stories, be active members of their communities, and have access to helpful resources.
Volunteer to Prepare & Share Lunch
VITAL meets on the 3rd Wednesday of each month from September to May. Attendees enjoy lunch and hear from guest speakers on a variety of topics. Would you and/or your team like to volunteer to prepare a meal for the group and join us for lunch?

- Lend your cooking skills to prepare a home cooked meal for VITAL
- Determine what you’d like to prepare and submit idea to Program Director
- Plan to make meal for approximately 30 attendees
- Bring meal to selected meeting, join us for lunch, or drop-off if you can’t stay

NewView Oklahoma, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that seeks to empower blind and vision impaired individuals to achieve their maximum potential through rehabilitation, employment, and community outreach.
Description
NewView Oklahoma operates two comprehensive low vision clinics, which provide one-of-a-kind vision rehabilitation services for individuals living with blindness and vision loss.
Through low vision rehabilitation, NewView works to keep children in school, adults at work and senior citizens living independently in their homes.
NewView Oklahoma is the state's leading employer of individuals who are blind and visually impaired, providing more than 100 jobs through in-house manufacturing and a growing number of service contracts.
Additionally, NewView Oklahoma offers community programs for people of all ages living with blindness and visual impairments including art classes, a dragon boating team, summer camps and support groups.
