Regular volunteers needed at Gateway180: Weekly Volunteers for After School Program, Tuesdays or Thursdays from 6-8pm
Gateway180 serves as a temporary home for around 100 children attending different school districts in the St. Louis Area. We are looking for volunteers who are willing to help us out regularly on either Tuesday or Thursday each week.
When: Tuesdays or Thursdays beginning September 19th
Where: Gateway180 Children's Room, 1000 N. 19th St. St. Louis, MO 63106
Time: 6-8pm
Responsibilities:
- Assisting students, individually or in small groups, with homework
- Assisting with literacy-related experiences such as reading stories, listening to students read, spelling, etc.
- Supervising indoor and outdoor play
- Planning arts and crafts activities
- Playing with children

Description
Gateway180 is the largest provider of housing services for families experiencing homelessness in metro St. Louis. With more than 1,500 clients each year, Gateway180 provides programs that empower adults and families to become independent and permanently housed. As a private, 501c3 nonprofit, Gateway180 is able to offer these services thanks to the generosity of the St. Louis community.
