Restoring! We are creating a diverse habitat by removing non-native species and planting native ones.

We are Master Native Plant Stewards from the Washington Native Plant Society (WNPS) and we have started a restoration project at the North-end of Twin Ponds! Our crew consists of 3 members (Bill, Meghan, and Rachel), who have graduated from the WNPS’ Master Native Plant Stewardship program. Our project goals are to remove the presence of non-native species (e.g., Himalayan blackberry, English ivy, and Morning glory) and replant our beautiful park with native tree and shrub species.

Please register at the email provided with your name, how many adults/minors you will be bringing, and a phone number in case of last minute schedule changes.

Please bring the following tools, if you have them: gloves, shovels, lopers, and hand pruners. We will also be providing them.

We look forward to working with you!
