Come help WNPS Stewards who are leading a native plant restoration effort in Shoreline's Ballinger Neighborhood. Bruggers Bog is a beautiful 4.5 acre Shoreline park tucked away near the headwaters of Ballinger Creek. We are removing the thickets of blackberries which has choked the riparian corridor and will replant with a variety of native shrubs and trees to support a diversity of wildlife. We have the opportunity to enhance the value and beauty of our native flora.
Regular work parties, tools provided, will be held on the second Sunday of each month. Please join us in the work and or just come visit the park to share our delight in this hidden gem. Contact us via bruggersbogstewards@gmail.com or check us out on Facebook at Bruggers Bog Stewards.
