IMPORTANT: Treasurer must be familiar and appreciative of non profit arts organizations who will work closely with the Executive Director including all duties listed below.
Treasurer Duties:
- Quarterly payroll reports and year end W2’s (Executive Director) handles filing of the Form 1099’s.
- Convert year end books to accrual basis, reconcile investment accounts for the audit, prepare various schedules for the audit, prepare depreciation schedule and produce the annual audit report including footnotes for the auditor.
- Assist with budget preparation annually
- Preparation of annual Form 990, 990T and Secretary of State filing (Executive Director handles filing of Attorney General information)
- Attend regular monthly Board Meetings and give financial reports to board on quarterly basis.
- Assist with the quarterly financial reports to the board.
- Oversee Finance committee meetings, assist with preparation of reports for meetings, and meet with investment managers.
- Assist with annual distribution from the investment account
- File annual personal property report

Description
Outpost Productions has been a non-profit arts organization since 1988. Since 1990, we've made our home at the Outpost Performance Space, a unique and intimate, non-smoking, non-alcohol, storefront alternative performance venue. Outpost Productions is a member-supported organization, also funded by grants (government & foundation), by donations, by corporate sponsorships, by advertising, as well as by ticket sales.
We present a wide variety of music and more - over 100 shows a year plus Classes and Educational Programs - all kinds of jazz (dixie to bop to modern to avant-garde); folk, blues & roots music; experimental music; classical music; international music; kids's programs; poetry & spoken word; theater and performance art; puppets; visual art exhibits; and many other unique events.We're proud to present and support the work of local as well as touring artists - recognized as well as emerging artists.
