Watershed Alliance holds a tree planting every year for Make a Difference Day!
Make a Difference Day is a national day of service. Spend your morning giving back and planting trees to make our urban environment a more beautiful and healthy place.
Make a Difference Day 2017 is on October 28th!
We will meet at the shelter at Leverich Park for registration and snacks. Orientation begins at 9am. From there we will walk together to the planting site. (A shuttle will also be available). Gloves, tools, and morning snack provided.
Please bring a reusable water bottle. Dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes.

The Watershed Alliance works to educate and engage community members to be active stewards of the Vancouver area’s natural legacy, with a focus on creeks, lakes, and other water bodies. We educate children and adults, while giving them hands on opportunities to participate in the restoration and protection of waterways.
