Group volunteer projects are a great way to work together and make a difference in the community. Whether you are a corporate team, student group, church group, private business or social group there are many ways to get involved with the Ronald McDonald House.

Around the House Projects We work continually to ensure every time a family enters the House they are welcomed into a clean environment that is reassuring and safe for their child receiving care at partner hospitals. We are in need of groups to help keep our House clean, organized and welcoming for our families. Projects are currently based on needs at the time of the request. Projects may include:

• Deep cleaning kitchens
• Cleaning dining rooms
• Picking up garbage/debris in parking structure and surrounding areas
• Organizing storage spaces
• Deep cleaning guest rooms
• Replacing shower curtains
• Replacing linens in guest rooms
• Wiping off outdoor seating areas in Secret Garden
• Dusting and vacuuming stairwells and hallways
• Sanitizing play areas
• Cleaning behind kitchen appliances
• Sanitizing guest laundry rooms
• Moving furniture

These projects are for individuals 14 years of age (with adult supervision) or older, typically last 2-3 hours and are best for groups of 5-15 people.

Youth Service Projects

Special off-site projects can be arranged for individuals 13 years of age and under. Contact the Community Engagement Coordinator at kerlandson@rmhc-easternwi.org for ways youth groups can get involved.
