Faith Hospice is looking for volunteers in the metro OKC areas.
- Would you like to make a difference in someone's life?
- Are you a kind hearted person who is willing to listen to a hospice patient share his or her memories?
If so, Faith Hospice needs you to join us in the ministry and mission of hospice care. There are many patients and their families who can benefit from your time and we would love to match you with them.
As a Faith Hospice volunteer, you will be given the choice as to how much time you want to volunteer.
Some examples of typical duties are: Reading to the patient, or just conversing; Or writing down a patient's memories to be shared with their family; Or writing a card or letter for a patient; Or maybe you sing or play an instrument? Our patients love music!
Volunteers are never asked to do something they are not comfortable doing.
We would love to have you as a part of our team, and for you to make a significant difference in someone's life. Please contact us if being a Faith Hospice volunteer is something you would like to do!

Description
TRADITIONS HEALTH provides a special form of care for people during the last months of life. When medical treatments cannot cure a disease, Faith Hospice's interdisciplinary team of hospice professionals can do a great deal to control pain, reduce anxiety and provide medical, spiritual and emotional comfort to patients and their family.
