Nothing fishy here: It takes a lot to care for our animals!
We are currently looking for weekday volunteers to help maintain the best possible environments for our residents. Opportunities are available in Fishes and Marine Mammals husbandry.
Applicants should be comfortable around a wide variety of animals, including fish, mammals, reptiles, amphibians, insects, and more. Expect to walk and stand for the duration of each shift while participating in the messier aspects of animal care. NOTE: animal contact is extremely limited and not guaranteed.
Learn more and apply at http://www.sheddaquarium.org/About-Us/Jobs-Internships-and-Volunteering/Volunteer-Listings/.

Description
Join the Shedd family! Become a volunteer.
At Shedd Aquarium, volunteers are valued partners. They can be found in almost every area of the aquarium: preparing food for our animals, sharing stories with our guests, testing water samples, and even diving. And that’s just the surface!
You don’t need to be an expert to volunteer. If you're passionate about aquatic life, and you love to learn, teach and inspire, you'll be a great volunteer!
