The Arc

The group is open to children from 6-12 who have a brother or sister with special needs. This FREE group is funded by the Johnson County Board of Supervisors. Sibship is meant to allow siblings to become educated about disabilities, talk about emotions, spend time away and ultimately JUST HAVE FUN.

Description

The Arc of Southeast Iowa started in 1957 by a group of parents and professionals interested in the welfare of individuals with disabilities. Since that time, The Arc of Southeast Iowa has been active in offering direct supportive programs to individuals with disabilities. From home and personal cares to job coaching, The Arc gives their clients the care they need to live as independently as possible.
