Do you live in the Minneapolis/St. Paul Metro area? Join the PACER Puppet Team and Help Children Learn about Bullying Prevention or Disability Awareness.

The KIDS AGAINST BULLYING puppet program helps young children learn how to respond if they are being bullied, how to help if they see someone being bullied, the difference between tattling and telling, and most importantly that no one ever deserves to be bullied.

The COUNT ME IN puppet program teaches children that kids with disabilities can do lots of things and they want to play, learn, have friends and be included just like everyone else.

As a volunteer puppeteer, you’ll:

  • Work with a fun team;
  • Present programs at metro schools two to three times per month
Training includes:
  • 3hr training to learn puppet and presentation skills;
  • Learning the script;
  • Staff assistance in puppetry and script delivery

All you need is your own transportation, time during the school day, and a desire to help young children.

For more information on becoming a PACER puppeteer, visit our website at www.pacer.org/puppets, email us at puppets@pacer.org or call 952-838-9000.
