Blossom Birth & Family is hosting its Annual Halloween Event outdoors at Mitchell Park in Palo Alto. We need many volunteers to help make the day a success. If you are friendly, caring and enthusiastic and enjoy helping kids and families, we need YOU! Tasks include helping with set up, decorating, helping kids play carnival games, taking pics for our costume contest at the selfie spot, and clean up. Come have some Halloween fun with us!
Date: Saturday, Oct. 29th
Location: Mitchell Park, Palo Alto, outdoors by the concrete circle/near the main field
The shifts are:
- set up 9 -10am
- 10am - 12:15pm - 1st shift - help run carnival games and activities with kids (or help with selfie spot)
- 12pm-2pm - 2nd shift - help run carnival games and activities with kids (or help with selfie spot)
- clean up 2-3pm

Blossom is a non-profit education and resource center that provides parents with a holistic view of pregnancy, childbirth, and early parenting. Our staff and educators create an inclusive and nurturing community that encourages wellness, confidence, and connected families. Our classes are the ideal size for personalized instruction, taught by educators who are diversity-minded and nonjudgmental, and who offer evidence-based information. Blossom provides resources and opportunities for maternity care professionals to train, continue education, network with each other, offer their services, and build community. Blossom collaborates with other non-profits and community organizations to address the important issues pertaining to infant and maternal health. We believe that parents who are supported and informed raise healthy, secure children - making our community strong now and into the future.
