Welcome volunteers! Hospice Sanctuary is in need of volunteers to assist our patients with normal daily tasks like errands, cleaning, talking, or even just playing games. As winter is approaching, our patients need to be prepared for the impending cold (to them) and ready for Christmas as families come near. Volunteers can help with various activities, sometimes activities that are needed just include listening to patients life stories, communicating with them, reading to them, playing games, holding their hand or being near, and at times helping to clean or preparing their house for guests, even some errands.

Our patients have varying needs so activities vary. They are mainly located in North Phoenix, Central Phoenix, Scottsdale, Litchfield, Mesa, and Gilbert.

Groups are welcome, as well as, veterans, retired, professionals, or students, even children if there is a chaperoning adult.
