Join our team in battling hunger in Yakima County. As a Meals on Wheels volunteer you will belong to a team committed to helping seniors maintain their health with nutritious food, personal contact, and caring service.
There are several volunteer opportunities available, from Home delivery driver, to serving meals at dining rooms in several locations, and more. opportunities available Monday through Friday. Volunteer 1 day a week or all five, from 1 hour a day, or 4. you can even donate your lunch break to us any way, any day.
Help us as we strive to continue to grow and reach out to more Seniors in need of nutritious food and companionship within our community.

Description
Meals On Wheels provides nutritious meals at no charge to people who are 60 and older in Yakima County (outside of the Yakama reservation). We have a home delivery program where we deliver meals to homebound people and a dining program where people can socialize and enjoy a hot meals, in addition provide pet food to those that are homebound, farmers market vouchers during the summer, and hygiene and household items
