The National MS Society is hosting our 31st Annual Bike MS: Peach Ride downtown LaGrange will be acting as our home-base throughout the weekend.

On Saturday, October 21 st our cyclist will be riding a loop Northwest/North of LaGrange and then on Sunday, October 22 nd our cyclist will be riding a loop Southeast/South of LaGrange.

The safety of our cyclist and volunteers are our number 1 priority throughout the weekend. We are looking for qualified individuals or groups that are certified medical professionals (EMTs/paramedics/nurses) to administer first aid at our rest stops, and at our start/finish line in LaGrange.

We are happy to work with you or your group on hours/locations that work best for you.

Are you a teacher and would like to have students gain medical hours please contact Sarah Patulo, Volunteer Manager at sarah.patulo@nmss.org.

What is required?

  • Proof of License or Certification
  • MUST have up to date CPR certification

Volunteers are the helping hands that make the event possible! When you join the Bike MS Volunteer Team, you become a part of Bike MS. Together we will provide support, raise money, have fun, and make a difference in the lives of people living with MS.

Along with our Medical Volunteer Team we have many additional opportunities for volunteers to get involved.

Additional Opportunities Include:

  • Bike Storage Check-in/out
  • Festival Area Support/Floaters
  • Food & Hydration Areas on Festival Site
  • Join the Movement Tent (Mission & Concierge)
  • Massage Therapist (must be licensed or overseen by a teacher)
  • Motorcycle Marshals (Requires motorcycle driving license, proof of insurance & safety training)
  • HAM Radio - Net Control/Communications
  • Photography/Videography (requires use of personal camera)
  • Registration Team
  • Rest Stops **TIMING WILL VARY DEPENDING ON REST STOP ASSIGNMENT**
  • Safety & Gear Driver "SAG" (Requires driver’s license, proof of insurance & safety training)
  • Spirit Crew
  • Supply Truck/Cargo Van Driver (Requires driver’s license, proof of insurance & safety training, prefer drivers with commercial licenses)
  • Volunteer Check-in

The Society is looking for passionate volunteers with expertise in areas such as: marketing communications, public relations, corporate and donor development, medical, legal, administrative and organizational expertise.
