Every 2nd Saturday of the month, Risen Christ Catholic School partners with St. Vincent de Paul Society to provide a Free Store for our families. Volunteers make this possible by setting up the tables, displaying the items and assisting families as they "shop".
Dates for 2017-18 are: Sept. 16, Oct. 14, Nov. 11, Dec. 9, Jan. 20, Feb. 10, March 10, April 14, May 12.
You may volunteer for one month or more.
Great opportunity for a group to do together.
Most of our families speak Spanish, so if you have this skill you may also be able to utilize it but it is not required.

Description
Risen Christ Catholic School serves families who predominately live in poverty and are immigrants. The majority of our students hope to be the first in their family to attend college and break the cycle of poverty. We are located in the Powderhorn Park neighborhood of south Minneapolis and serve grades Kindergarten - 8th.
