Job Description: Oversee Marketing efforts for Doing Good, a 501c3 nonprofit.
Due to board activities, all Doing Good board members are asked to live in Tennessee and be willing to travel to Middle Tennessee for meetings.
Responsibilities
- Serve on the Board of Directors with a focus on strategy.
- Participate and vote in Board Meetings.
- Work hand-in-hand with the Marketing Assistant Director who manages the committee to ensure Marketing activities achieve strategic goals.
- Marketing Committee activities include writing, graphic design, and supporting other Doing Good committees in their efforts.
- Marketing Committee activities do not include Public Relations or Social Media.
- Partner closely with the Online Education Director and Committee to begin online education activities.
- Select the Featured Volunteers to cross-promote each month.
- Use Google Drive, Trello and Zoom.
Time Involved: Approximately 4-5 hours/month
Dates
- Board Meetings are held every six weeks via Zoom at 6:30 pm CST on Mondays
- Monthly committee meetings in person and/or via phone
