Volunteer Opportunities

We are currently recruiting for multiple Fundraising Coordinator Volunteers from all states to help maintain our daily operations and expend our donation program. The positions are part-time and as needed bases. You work on your own time and at your own place. Related education and experience is preferable but not required. Will you join us to help fight for people with disabilities?

These positions are perfect for retirees, students, people with disabilities or someone who has extra time in their lives and looking for more fulfilling life experiences.

JobDescription - Fundraising Coordinator

  • Coordinates fundraising strategies and is responsible for most aspects of fundraising programs
  • Assists in the development of fundraising goals and solicits funds to meet these goals
  • Is responsible for helping to identify new donors and organizes initiatives to solicit funding
  • May assist in developing major gift opportunities and writing grant proposals
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and performs a variety of tasks
  • Works under general supervision
  • Possesses a certain degree of creativity and latitude
  • Builds fundraising opportunities through various business development techniques including prospecting, targeted follow-up, and new lead generation
  • Delivers organized, structured, and persuasive presentations, using effective written and verbal communication
  • Assists in recruiting, identifying, and training temporary coordinators and volunteers
  • Performs other duties or special projects as needed
