Volunteer Opp: Outreach & Special Projects Volunteer- Special Events
Description: The American Cancer Society office seeks volunteers to assist the Community Development Team with public relations, volunteer calls, and outreach to secure in-kind donations in support of Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Newark, Jersey City, Parsippany and Ridgefield Park. Additional events include the Northern New Jersey Golf Classic and, the Diamond Ball Gala. In addition, the office volunteer will assist the team with special projects including event coordination support and community outreach support.

The American Cancer Society's Relay For Life of Kenilworth is a unique volunteer driven event, unlike any other. Community participation is essential to insure the success of this annual overnight event that raises awareness and funds to Finish The Fight against cancer in our lifetime.
