Volunteers are needed for the Friends of the Newport News Public Library Bookstore located in the basement of the Grissom Library. The Bookstore is open every week - Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 10AM-1PM. If you love books and reading, enjoy talking to adults and children about books you will enjoy our bookstore! If you can donate two or three hours a week on either Monday, Wednesday or Friday please contact us

The Friends of the Newport News Public Library is a nonprofit, volunteer organization. It was incorporated in 1981 to foster closer relations between the Newport News Public Library and the citizens of the City.
