Good Sports - USA is seeking both tutors and mentors.
Tutors - person trained or experienced in academia and willing to work with participating program youth in our after school program Monday - Thursday between the hours of 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m., just drop in - no time requirements, we'll take what time you can offer. Training provided.
Mentor - person in good standing in the community, who can offer positive motivation, support and encouragement to participating program youth in our after school programs, group mentoring sessions, program outings both with the group and one on one Monday - Sunday based on your schedule and availability. Training provided.
Program Ambassador - person who promotes the Good Sports - USA mission, programs and services in good faith and helps to identify tutors, mentors, donors, sponsors etc.

Description
Good Sports - USA targets "at risk" youth between the ages of 6 - 18 years of age who reside in low-income and rural communities, with the goal of providing them access to resources and opportunities.
We transfer the motivation youth have for sports & entertainment into the opportunity for youth to succeed academically with tutoring and mentoring services that teach youth about the employment process, workforce readiness skills, character/life skills, behavior management skills, service learning, spiritual awareness/appreciation.
