Volunteer needed for our Hy-Vee Food Drives on Saturdays at five stores in Johnson County. Volunteers hand out slips of paper to shoppers that list most-needed food items and collect donations that go straight to our food pantries. This is a great opportunity for students or volunteers seeking a weekend opportunity. Founded in 1956, Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas is a ministry of the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas. Our purpose is to animate the Gospel of Jesus Christ by putting love into action through specialized programs and services for those in need.
