ORGANIZATION: WriteGirl (a project of Community Partners)

  • 21 people are interested

WriteGirl, a creative writing and mentoring organization for teen girls, is seeking women photographers to help document our various events. From large scale writing workshops at museums and gardens, to smaller college workshops and panel discussions, we are in need of event photographers to help capture the excitement and success of WriteGirl programs. We need photos that we can use in a variety of ways - on our website, in our reports, on social media and in a variety of publicity materials.

With several events each month, we are seeking 4 professional photographers to volunteer their services, with the hopes that we can have at least one photographer at every event!

Two-hour time commitment, per event. Help at one event per month....or more! Most events are on Saturdays in the afternoon and are held at beautiful venues all around Los Angeles.

Please note that because our organization is centered around empowering teen girls with creative writing and one-on-one mentoring, all of our volunteers are professional women (over 18 years of age).
