As our Volunteer efforts grow, we need help with organizing our Archive. Do you like trying to decipher old handwriting or do you get a thrill when you find an old photographer of an old structure? Do you mind spending hours and hours tediously scanning and feeding data into a computer database but know that in the end you will be able to find anyone or anything with a few key strokes! If you are detailed oriented and consider accuracy important then the Archives project is your kind of fun.
We are on the look for you to help in are Archive to enable them to be more user friendly. This project will have far reaching impact for the cemetery and for our many families.

Mission Statement
The mission of the Friends of Bellefontaine is to promote educational and cultural activities at the cemetery, and to support its rich heritage, important architecture, and beautiful landscape.
Description
Founded in 1849, Bellefontaine Cemetery holds the stories of the men and women who built St. Louis. It is a Class II arboretum with important collections of trees and lovely gardens and is still an active nonprofit serving as a place of rest for St. Louisans.
