- Help an adult learner improve reading and writing skills
- Assist your learner with developing confidence and a positive attitude about learning
- Be able to engage learner in decisions relating to their learning process and goals
- Be able to meet regularly once a week for at least 6 months
- Complete a monthly hours reports
- Complete a 2 hour orientation class March 22nd and a 2 hour training class March 29th from 6pm to 8pm at the AK Smiley Public Library

Libraries offer a variety of skilled volunteer opportunities to make a meaningful contribution to library programs, operations, fundraising events and other community engagement functions.
