What does a Hospice Volunteer do?
A Hospice Volunteer can do a wide variety of things, based on your skills, talents, and interests. Some of these things may include:
*Support for patients: visiting, reading, taking walks, writing letters, journaling, music therapy and pet therapy.
*Respite and support for loved ones and caregivers.
*Administrative support in our Staunton office: making phone calls, doing mailings, answering phones, making copies, etc.
*Visiting patients in facilities
*Baking goodies to take to community partners
If you have a heart to help others, we will find a place for you to serve.

Description
Intrepid is a national healthcare company providing hospice services to patients who have a life limiting illness. If you have some extra time we can utilize your talents. Are you a high school or college student, that need volunteer hours to graduate? There are many different ways to volunteer: administrative duties, patient support, music therapy, pet therapy, massage therapy, and bereavement support are just a few.
