The Arc of South Norfolk's mission is committed to providing exceptional supports to people with developmental disabilities including autism through collaboration, advocacy and empowerment

For several years our Social and Recreation Programs have offered fun and competitive activities for adults with developmental disabilities. We offer several sports programs that practice weekly in the evenings. We need volunteers to assist during our practices and games: Currently, we are seeking volunteers for the following programs:

Summer Bocce (June 3-August 19th) Sundays @ 3:30
Softball (May 14-July) Mondays 6-8pm
"Hip Hop Cafe" dance April 27th. Volunteers will assist with set up and clean up, ensuring the safety and fun of all of the dance participants.

We are also interested in offering cooking/nutrition/exercise classes/art and Saturday social trips.

These classes and trips are PAID opportunities!

Please contact Kayla Hanson khanson@arcsouthnorfolk.org to volunteer.
