This opening is for volunteers interested in writing and researching grants. Volunteering with us is a great way to gain experience in this high-paying and sought-after profession, and we can give you the experience you need.

Duties would involve locating and applying for grants offered by government and non-government agencies. Grant Writers would be responsible for overseeing the maintenance of our organization's contacts and accounts relating to grant research and application.

Hours are completely flexible, and are project oriented rather than being scheduled. Work at your own pace, but try to get grants completed within their deadlines, and update our organization's officers and directors via meetings or e-mails with any questions or pertinent details.

There may be some crossover into other areas, such as general fundraising or soliciting donations.

Do a good job, and we'll be happy to provide you with a professional reference. We have many positions to volunteer in, and we can offer you good experience on your résumé or curriculum vitae. Furthermore, good deeds can take you far!

Can be done virtually, but being able to meet face-to-face is preferred.
