Gain valuable experience exercising your writing skills! The Wisconsin Science Museum seeks to expand the physical space, outreach programs, and range of exhibits offered. With such ambitious dreams, we'll need funding to make these projects a reality.
Volunteer Grant Writers research local and national grants that match our mission, existing exhibits, and proposed initiatives. After narrowing down opportunities, Volunteer Grant Writers then draft, revise, and submit grant proposals.
Best of all, the Wisconsin Science Museum is an entirely volunteer-run operation with low overhead, so you know the funding you secure will be put to good use.

Mission Statement
The Wisconsin Science Museum connects science, art and technology discoveries with experiences that inform and inspire. Our exhibits and programming foster curiosity, connect visitors to the research happening in their own community, and frame local technology and scientific advancements within the larger contexts of science, history and culture.
Description
Wisconsin has incredible science, technology and biotech stories, and many discoveries that helped change the world happened right here. Madison and the biotechnology industry have grown together, and collaborations between public and private organizations have helped develop a city directly on the edge of innovation.
Our goal is to make the Wisconsin Science Museum one of the country’s preeminent science and technology museums, highlighting connections to Wisconsin both locally and globally. By combining research, industry, and hands-on exploration, the museum will create fun and inspiring experiences that encourage visitors of all ages to improve the world by being thinkers, doers, and science and technology advocates.
Science and biotechnology are a significant part of Madison’s story, and we plan on encouraging community pride and participation in its next chapters. We’re ready to engineer Madison’s next big cultural resource - will you join us?
