ORGANIZATION: CIVIC WORKS

Civworks Action Image
Single Payer Action is Up!

civ.works, an exciting new privacy-protected social network (facebook alternative) built for civic action.

We have software that runs and collects civic actions which might include anything from a Planned Parenthood outreach event to Moms Demand Action to voter registration to town hall meetings with representatives.

Making sure actions are understandable, have complete date/time and location information helps make sure everyone can participate and strengthen democracy.

This role can grow to include more responsibility and connection to active groups depending on the desire and skills of the volunteer.

After a brief (15 minute training session) over the computer -you can be reviewing and approving important actions for civ.works and all of our subscribers.

About CIVIC WORKS

Location:

10923 Progress Court #3326, Rancho Cordova, CA 95741, US

Mission Statement

We created civ.works as a platform for all of us to work together to overcome the corrupting influence of money in politics. Together we can address bad policy, legislation and to hold all of our elected officials accountable. For democracy to work -our government must represent "We the People". civ.works: Together. We can.

Description

civ.works is a privacy protected social platform built for meaningful civic action.

The concept of civ.works is to finally provide a societal machine to stand up against something created nearly 50 years ago -and begin the process of empowering citizens again. We are building a platform together -against an incredibly mature and well-funded machine. Your volunteer efforts will be helping us collectively build something powerful and important.
