During these uncertain times, how can we help?
See below to access our COVID-19 Resource Hub, and to explore our growing directory of COVID-19-specific and virtual volunteering opportunities.
Volunteering for special events means being a part of a cohesive team that creates positive experiences and memories for the NMCAN community, in particular our young people. Your role might include helping coordinate, set up and work special events, such as Festivus for the Rest of Us and more! Please note that NMCAN events have been paused due to Covid-19 health orders until further notice.

NMCAN partners with young people to build community, promote equity, and lead change.
Since 1990, NMCAN has been leveraging community partnerships and volunteerism to improve children and youth’s experiences in foster care. Today, we have grown to authentically engage young people impacted by the foster care and/or juvenile justice systems to improve their transition to adulthood. Together, we work to: 1) Reduce systemic barriers that negatively impact their lives; 2) Help them learn how to build positive community networks and strengthen their sense of belonging; and 3) Access tools to achieve goals related to education, employment, health, housing, and personal finance.
We'll work with your schedule.
