Help us celebrate Montgomery County's rich farming heritage at one of the prettiest places in Montgomery Parks, the Agricultural History Farm Park in Derwood! In recognition of the 100th anniversary, this year's theme is "World War I on the Homefront".
Visitors to the festival will learn about the crafts, games, food and activities on a farm from that time periord, with help from park staff and volunteers like you!
Training, a delicious lunch, t-shirt and breaks will be provided. This will be outside work, rain or shine (tents will be provided). We are looking for outgoing and friendly people, and while all jobs are not physically demanding, they all do require the ability to work on uneven ground.
**THIS IS Student Service Learning APPROVED!**
