Toy Story quote

Grace hospice serves patients in their homes and in nursing homes. We currently have several patients in nursing homes in the Anderson Twp area who are seeking people to visit with them. Volunteering only requires a commitment of 1 hour per week, any day of the week that you have time to spare. You can change a person's life for the better with your visits. We are seeking Volunteers who are able to read scripture, talk to our patients and listen to them. If you have any other skills that you would like to share (playing an instrument, singing, drawing, crocheting, etc) they are welcome too! All training is provided and Grace pays for background and UA/TB testing. Training dates/times can be arranged around your schedule. For more information email sduncan@ghospice.com or call 513-458-5545. We need you to help make the world a better place for our patients and their families. There is nothing else like being a Hospice Volunteer.

About Grace Hospice - Cincinnati

4850 Smith Rd., Suite 100c, Cincinnati, OH 45212, US

Mission Statement

For each employee to treat every patient as their own treasured loved one, providing care that affords a quality of life that outweighs quantity of days, and supports caregivers as their hearts find healing.

Hospice is the only health care system that mandates the involvement of volunteers. This reflects the history of the hospice movement in the United States, which started as an all-volunteer system.

Hospice is designed to provide comfort care as well as spiritual and emotional support in the final phase of a terminal illness. At Grace Hospice, we focus on enhancing the quality of life and our volunteers play a key role in our mission. The hospice philosophy reaches beyond the physical needs of a patient and ensures that a patient spend their final days in comfort and with dignity.

Grace Hospice volunteers are as diverse as our professional staff. Compassion and caring are the hallmarks of any great hospice volunteer, and their involvement are a vital part of our team.
