Our Friday knitting group needs help! We're looking for volunteers skilled in knitting that can commit to come on Fridays (either every Friday or every other Friday). Ideally a volunteer would commit to a 6 month schedule.
Time: 10am-12pm on Fridays
What: Knitting with adults and seniors with developmental disabilities
Why: This is a social enterprise that our clients use to earn extra money to supplement their income.
Who: People who know how to knit and like sharing that knowledge with others! We are especially interested in engaging retired individuals in this volunteer opportunity, but any knitters are welcome to apply!

The Arc San Francisco is a lifelong learning and achievement center for over 840 individuals with developmental disabilities in San Francisco, San Mateo and Marin counties.
