About

Individuals and volunteer groups (most ages, under 18 require adult supervision) are needed and welcomed throughout the year to help with a number of different projects and activities at UMCS.

From assisting with landscaping, doing laundry and sorting clothing for our Clothing Bank, cleaning and organizing the Family Resource Center, painting and upgrading apartment units and common areas, organizing and inventory of materials, sorting and shelving food for our Emergency Food Pantry, and advanced building projects, we have opportunities for groups of all ages and sizes.

Do you have a special skill or interest? We would love to have conversation with you or your group about what you are looking to do and how you might be able to help, and will work with you to develop a volunteer project. All group volunteer experiences can include a tour of UMCS and explanation of the services we provide to the Washington Park community and a chance for your group to ask questions as well.

We look forwarding to working with you!
