Join us on October 1st and celebrate the month of October in style! Assist us in a FREE rock climbing event that anyone in Lane County can be a part of! We'd love to have your support! Volunteers will be assisting at the admissions booth, belaying and gear fitting for patrons , Volunteers will also be helping support the operations of the event. If you posses an OLCC license, you can be eligible to serve beer in our beer garden. This event caters to adults 21+.
PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE 21+ IN ORDER TO VOLUNTEER. YOU MAY VOLUNTEER AT 16+.

Description
Willamalane Park and Recreation District maintains and operates seven recreation facilities and 44 parks and natural areas that make up more than 1,500 acres. Highlights include Splash! at Lively Park, Camp Putt Adventure Golf Park, Wildish Community Theater, 13 waterfront areas, 21 miles of hiking and biking trails, 15 sports fields and 24 playgrounds. Willamalane offers hundreds of recreation programs to more than 60,000 patrons. Created by voters in 1944, Willamalane is a special tax district, separate from the city of Springfield, with its own boundaries. It is governed by a five-member, elected board of directors and managed by a district superintendent. Online information is available at willamalane.org
