ORGANIZATION: Milwaukee Academy of Science - (MAS)

  • 7 people are interested

The Early Literacy program is an established tutoring program to assist our K5 and 1st grade scholars. The tutor will work with two students (k5-5st grade), for 30 minutes each. The tutor will meet with the same students, and follow an organized supplemental literacy curriculum provided by our school. Volunteers will be given a 30 minute training on how to administer the tutoring curriculum to their students, prior to their first tutoring session. Thanks to a partnership with the Milwaukee Bucks, incentives are available for MAS students and tutors for success in the program.
