The Greater Albuquerque Habitat for Humanity will be hosting our annual ReStore Rocks event, Saturday, October 21st and we are in need of volunteers. 100% percent of the proceeds raised will benefit the continuation of homes being built for low income families. ReStore rocks will have food, music, giveaways, information booths, face painting, flu vaccines, sales on all furniture, appliances and much more. We are looking for volunteers to help assist in various areas of the event, for example: selling raffles tickets, handing out door goodies, serving cake, clean up, relieving other volunteers for breaks, helping with donations, customer service, assisting cashiers with purchases, passing out flyers and brochures, and directing traffic. The event will run from 9:00am-5:00pm and we do ask volunteers for a minimum of two hours. There is no experience necessary to participate but some retail and event experience is helpful. We do welcome youth as young as 16 but must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

Description
Greater Albuquerque Habitat for Humanity is a locally run affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, a nonprofit, ecumenical, Christian housing organization. We work in partnership with people in need to build decent, affordable housing. Our vision is that no one in the Greater Albuquerque area will live in substandard housing. Since 1987, we have built more than 177 homes in the Albuquerque area, all of which we could not have done without the generosity of hundreds of volunteers every year. Volunteers are needed to help with everything from construction to office to ReStore assignments.
