ORGANIZATION: Brain Arts Orginization

  • 15 people are interested

Want to help play a key role in building the analytics foundation of an organization that fosters a connected art & music scene in the Boston area? Look no further!

Composed of 150-200 unpaid volunteers, BRAIN Arts is a 501(c)(3) local volunteer-run music and arts nonprofit organization that supports the independent music, art, and film community in the greater Boston area through meetings, events and publications.

We are looking for an analytics coordinator to help the current head of analytics with the day to day of handling all data-related tasks. The data team is brand new so you'll have a lot of opportunity to have a large impact in a short amount of time, and get true ownership over fun and exciting projects. You'll also gain exposure to analytical challenges across multiple facets of the org - marketing, operations, fundraising, and more!

We are open to both skilled and unskilled candidates with a passion for analytics. You'll be working directly with a senior data scientist at an ad agency that has many years of experience in the marketing analytics space. He is 100% open to teaching someone the tricks of the trade as long as they're willing to learn.

Skills that can be brought to the table or learned as you go:
- Google Analytics
- Google AdWords
- Google Data Studio
- Trello
- Mailchimp
- Salesforce
- Building a sales funnel the entire way through

BRAIN Arts has weekly meetings every Monday at alternating locations in Somerville and Allston which are helpful to meet the rest of the org and get a feel for our work. It isn't mandatory to attend every meeting, however. Time commitment can be as much as you have time for - on average it's safe to assume at least 5 hours a week.
