We need volunteers for our Day of Caring project! This opportunity is through the United Way of Lane County. Volunteers can register late by going to this website and following the directions provided: http://unitedwaylane.org/get-involved/volunteer/days-of-caring/
Please be sure to ask for our project! We're happy to have you at whatever times you're available on that day to join our work party. Volunteers are needed for a variety of outside tasks to beautify the Science Factory building in preparation for a long school year. You'll be painting, helping with groundskeeping, cleaning and repairing. Join us for an upbeat and fun day!

Founded in 1961, the Eugene Science Center's mission is to engage, excite, and inspire children toward a lifelong love of learning about science, technology, and humanity. We strive to do this through interactive exhibitions, planetarium shows, and educational programs on many scientific fields and concepts. We serve 35,000 visitors each year, including 6,000 K-8 children who participated in educational programs such as school field trips, holiday/vacation programs, and summer camps. Formerly the Science Factory.
