A 62 year old woman living with ALS and her husband are looking for someone to help clean their home every other week. In the words of the woman, she "can’t go up and down anymore" so she needs help with dusting the baseboards, cleaning the bathroom, and dusting and vacuuming the rest of the house. She estimates this will take someone 2-4hours each visit.

What is ALS?
ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) is a degenerative disease of the central nervous system. ALS results in the progressive weakness of voluntary muscles which often leads to total paralysis. There is no known cause or cure for ALS. People with ALS typically live between two and five years after being diagnosed.
How does The ALS Association help?
We fulfill our mission by offering programs, services, and equipment free of charge to anyone affected by ALS residing in Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota.
