Location - San Marcos, TX, begin at San Marcos High School. Mark the route with signage. Volunteers will work in teams of two or more. New folks will be paired with experienced volunteers. This job usually takes 4 to 5 hours. Please let us know if you're willing to provide/drive your own vehicle.

Parking/5:00am - 10:00am
Location: San Marcos High School, 2601 E McCarty Ln, San Marcos, TX 78666. Provide direction to riders and volunteers for parking.

Red Rider Tent - Early Shift/5:00am - 11:00am
Location: San Marcos High School, 2601 E McCarty Ln, San Marcos, TX 78666. Set-up and decorate the Red Rider tent and provide any assistance needed to the Red Riders and their families.

Registration/5:00am - 10:00am
Location: San Marcos High School, 2601 E McCarty Ln, San Marcos, TX 78666. Check in riders, hand out packets and collect money the riders have raised.

Recognition: T-Shirts -Early Shift/5:00am - 10:00am

VIP Parking Pass Greeter/5:00am - 10:00am
Location: San Marcos High School, 2601 E McCarty Ln, San Marcos, TX 78666. Help welcome Champion fundraisers and other VIPs

Volunteer Check In-Early Shift/5:00am - 10:00am
Location: San Marcos High School, 2601 E McCarty Ln, San Marcos, TX 78666. Check in volunteers, collect waivers and hand out t-shirts.

Motor cycle SAG/6:30am - 1:30pm
Location: On Route - begin at San Marcos High School, 2601 E McCarty Ln, San Marcos, TX 78666. Motorcyclists needed to roam the route in search of riders needing help.

Photographer/6:30am - 12:00pm
Taking good quality photographs in the morning to capture activities going on throughout the event site. You do not have to be a professional photographer but do it more as a hobby and have a good eye for taking pictures.

Ride Marshal - Route/6:30am - 1:30pm
Location: On Route, begin at San Marcos High School, 2601 E McCarty Ln, San Marcos, TX 78666. Cyclists needed to roam the route searching for other riders needing help.

SAG Drivers/6:30am - 2:00pm
Location: On Route, begin at San Marcos High School, 2601 E McCarty Ln, San Marcos, TX 78666 * Pick up cyclist and bicycle for transport to nearest rest stop or available bike mechanic. Respond to calls and directions from Command Center to aid cyclists who need road assistance. SAG drivers will be accompanied by mobile HAM radio volunteers. Volunteers for this position need a van, pick-up truck, SUV or other vehicle that can transport cyclist and bicycle. Drivers must have a valid license and appropriate vehicle insurance. We can also reimburse drivers for gas expenses. * Patrol route on a motor cycle for injured riders, mechanical troubles, and signage problems. Serve as an important conduit of information to Command Center.

Morning Cheerleading/7:00am - 12:00pm
Location: San Marcos High School, 2601 E McCarty Ln, San Marcos, TX 78666. Cheer our riders as they cross the finish line!

Rest Stops - Early Shift/7:00am - 11:00am
Actual shifts may vary depending on rest stop location.

Kid's Zone/10:00am - 2:30pm
Location: San Marcos High School, 2601 E McCarty Ln, San Marcos, TX 78666. Add overall enthusiasm to the kids zone/event with hula hoops, bubbles, kids tatoos and more!

Lunch - Early Shift/9:30am - 1:00pm
Location: San Marcos High School, 2601 E McCarty Ln, San Marcos, TX 78666. Set up lunch area and assist vendors with preparing and handing out lunch.

Red Rider Tent - Late Shift/10:00am - 4:00pm
Location: San Marcos High School, 2601 E McCarty Ln, San Marcos, TX 78666. Be of assistance to all Red Riders.
