Do you like disc golf, dragonflies, wildlife or native plants? Bring your family, friends, students, or coworkers to spend the day outdoors giving back to your community at the Bertelsen/Stewart Pond Complex! Volunteers will pull invasive species, maintain trails, plant natives, pick up trash and more! This is a family-friendly event--no experience necessary! This event is hosted by WREN and the Bureau of Land Management.
Volunteers will be provided with a free t-shirt, parks pass, and treats donated by local businesses!

About WREN
Location:
751 S. Danebo Ave., Eugene, OR 97402, US
Mission Statement
To practice and promote land stewardship through education, partnerships, and scientific research.
Description
The Willamette Resources and Educational Network (WREN) was born of a community-acknowledged need which was addressed in the West Eugene Wetlands Plan. WREN embarked on the development of an environmental education program that would help community members understand the importance and need for long term stewardship and preservation of the wetlands. As a result, these public lands are a resource that will be enjoyed and appreciated for years to come.
Since 2002 WREN has served more than 50,000 community members, through classroom outreach programs, field trips, family exploration days, wetland wanders, adult trainings and workshops, and community outreach events.
