Volunteers are needed to work alongside Friends of the Mississippi River and Great River Greening to help protect native plant communities by hauling brush on the Flint Hills property within the Pine Bend Bluffs Natural Area along the Mississippi River on Saturday, October 21, 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
As always, all are welcome and encouraged to work at their own comfort level, and no previous experience is necessary.However, due to the nature of the work on this site volunteers must be 15 years of age or older. All tools and supplies will be provided, including coffee, morning snacks and a hot lunch to conclude the event!
