ORGANIZATION: Military Child Education Coalition

Responsibilities

  • Research and make recommendations regarding e-commerce options.
  • Meet with Chief of Shipping & Logistics to discuss options.
  • Rebuild the current e-commerce site or begin building a new e-commerce site.
  • Implement updates.
  • Learn & understand the warehouse inventory system.
  • Convert all outgoing inventory items into sales orders.
  • Make recommendations on marketing options to promote online sales growth,
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Must be detail-oriented, a quick learner, have a strong work ethic, and need minimal supervision.
  • Must learn and use Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook.
  • Must know HTML and CCS coding or willing and fearless to try new things
  • Must be able to effectively communicate in writing and verbally.
  • Must commit to 10-20 hours per month.

The Military Child Education Coalition is a 501c(3) world-wide organization.To address the unique challenges of military-connected children, including separations caused by deployment, trauma grief and loss.

The enduring strategic goals that the Military Child Education Coalition seeks are:

  • Military-connected children’s academic, social and emotional needs are recognized, supported and appropriate responses provided.
  • Parents, and other supporting adults, are empowered with the knowledge to ensure military-connected children are college, workforce and life-ready.
  • A strong community of partners is committed to support an environment where military-connected children thrive.
