The Zone Academy After School Program at The Salvation Army in Glendale is looking for reading specialists and/or ELL tutors to help some of our students learn to read and write in English and also improve their English skills overall.
Tutoring takes place from 3:30-5 Monday-Thursday, but you do not have to be able to help every day.
Preferred but not required:
Those who can also speak Spanish and/or Armenian

Our goal is that The Salvation Army in Glendale will become known in the community as a Christian Church that is spiritually alive in Christ; has a vision of a community-based church made up of multiple ethnic groups in the neighborhood; will provide a spiritual social services ministry/community outreach.
