Plant native vegetation along the Q Street Floodway. Please dress appropriately for the weather. We will be working around broken glass, blackberry, and other sharp objects so it is important to wear long pants and shirt as needed. Socks and sturdy, closed-toed shoes are required. Please bring your own water bottle. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your assignment at the check in location.
Minimum age to volunteer is 13 years, and any youth under age 16 must work directly with a parent or guardian. Anyone under the age of 18 must have a signed parent permission form, available at http://www.springfield-or.gov/dpw/CW_Trailer.htm

Description
Springfield's Stream Team is made up of volunteers that help local waterways by cleaning up litter, planting native vegetation, and removing invasive plants. Both individuals and service groups are encouraged to volunteer. Gloves, tools and guidance are provided. Projects occur along Springfield’s streams, bioswales and rivers.
