BRIDGE Day Service’s is seeking a volunteer knowledgeable in American Sign Language. The volunteer should be comfortable leading small groups, have skills in preparing teaching lessons, and demonstrate patience and flexibility with BRIDGE clients. The benefit for the volunteer is to gain teaching experience, develop leadership skills, and to have the privilege of supporting people with disabilities in their efforts to communicate.
Time Commitment: Preferred one or two days a week Monday- Thursday between the hours of 10-2 pm for up to 2 hours. BRIDGE would like one class to be held at their Hudson Day Service location and the other class to be held at their River Falls Day Service location.
Time commitment is negotiable and we will do our best to work with the volunteer’s available schedule.
